In late June 2021 we held our first TCFS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) All Hands meetings. The calls were open to all members of our community: fellows, alumnae, coaches, donors and our wider community. During the two 90 minute virtual sessions, we shared DEI progress made since beginning our DEI initiatives in 2018, and we discussed ideas and perspectives to help us learn and design how we move forward.

Importantly, the TCFS bi-annual DEI All Hands calls were held not only to work together on identifying and growing DEI initiatives, but also to hold ourselves publicly accountable for the…

#1 Actually, Talk About Money.
When women can talk freely about money, demand what…

This is our incredible #heroine team at TCFS. We are a deeply connected team who gets a lot done for our size and the number of hours in the day! As the burnout epidemic continues, we have some shares we practice as a team to stay connected and accountable to #selfcare while being efficient and still have fun!

1. #zoomfreefridays — solid time to catch up and have a break from being ‘on’

2. Sustainable Productivity — every few weeks or every week if needed take time to check-in on what we are doing to take care of ourselves and…

It was a great honor for us to welcome three new incredible women to TCFS in June 2021. We have always been a team of strong, smart and committed people, and with the additional support of two new Board Directors and our new Program Manager we are ready to take TCFS to the next level.

Pear Urushima and Mary Ellen Muckerman have joined our Board of Directors, in addition to our three other board members, plus myself. With Pear and Mary Ellen joining, the TCFS board is now the largest it has been since our founding. Both new board members…

Here at The Coaching Fellowship (TCFS) we are delighted to announce we have received a $200,000 grant from #StartSmall, the public fund of Square and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for global COVID-19 relief. After the pandemic, the focus of #StartSmall will shift to girl’s health and education, and UBI.

These funds will support TCFS to further expand our core programs serving young women social change leaders around the world, and to continue supporting young women leaders specifically in direct care roles. We believe strongly that those who are helping others, should also be helped.

In 2020 TCFS immediately responded to…

A tiny snapshot includes: millions of women leaving the workforce either through layoffs as they largely work in the service sector, or leaving due to necessity to care take their families, it’s the so-called ‘pink recession.’ To one quarter of women owned businesses closing, to…
